Counsel to Celsius Online on its sale to Plug-In-Digital

Moncey Avocats assisted Celsius Online, a video game development studio created in 2004, on its sale to Plug-In-Digital, a video game publisher from Montpellier.

The founder of Celsius Online, Lévan Sardjeveladzé, joins the main shareholders of Plug-In-Digital, also alongside the Bridgepoint Development fund, which acquired a stake in the publisher in 2021.

This merger will enable Celsius Online to retain its creative and editorial independence and will provide it with the means to achieve new ambitions. Together, they represent more than 120 talents and offer a wide range of games on PC, Cloud, Console and Mobile, in distribution and publishing, in premium or Free-to-play versions.

This transaction is part of a global video game market that continues to break records in terms of revenue, the world's leading cultural and creative industry.
