Moncey Avocats assisted Gascogne in the reorganization of the capital of its principal shareholder Attis 2, which holds 70.60% of its capital and 77.52% of its voting rights. Attis 2 was initially composed of Biolandes Technologies and the founder of Gascogne, Dominique Coutière, with the support of IDIA Capital Investissement, Bpifrance and Dérivés Résiniques et Terpéniques (DRT).
Crédit Mutuel Equity has become a new shareholder in Attis 2 with a 25% stake, Biolandes Technologies and Crédit Agricole (Sofagri) have acquired a further 49% and 26% respectively, while DRT and Bpifrance have signed their exit agreements.
Founded in 1925, Gascogne is present in the entire wood-paper-packaging sector, with four complementary and integrated activities. The group is also the world's leading producer of natural kraft paper, the third largest producer of industrial and consumer sacks in Europe, and one of Europe's leading manufacturers of multilayer packaging and protection laminates, particularly in the food sector.
The new shareholders will support the €M330 strategic industrial investment plan.
Gascogne was advised by a team from Moncey Avocats composed of Pierre-Alain Bouhénic, partner and Louis Gibon, associate.
