Moncey renews its employment law department with the arrival of Camille Cournot

Camille Cournot joins Moncey Avocats, to manage and develop its employment law department. Her extensive knowledge and expertise in labour and employment law are a major asset to the firm's growth and client relationship consolidation.

Camille Cournot advises funds, growth companies and French and international groups. Her practice is based on three core areas: support for corporate transactions (LBOs, financing rounds, IPOs, acquisitions, mergers, etc.), advice on all employment law matters and litigation.

She assists her clients on a day-to-day basis in managing individual and collective employment matters, with particular expertise in employee representative bodies and reorganizations.

She also assists clients with risk assessment, managing pre-litigation situations and seeking settlement solutions, as well as litigation before the labour, civil and administrative courts.

Camille Cournot and the team she is setting up are a key addition to the Moncey teams, who assist their clients on numerous transactions each year.

The arrival of Camille Cournot is in line with the firm's ambition to provide its clients with an ever more comprehensive and high-level multidisciplinary service, both in the context of their specific development operations and their day-to-day concerns. It adds to the expertise of Frédéric Pinet, Guillaume Giuliani, Marie-Victoire James and Fabrice de La Morandière in Corporate, Frédéric Bosc in Tax, David Malamed in Financing, Philippe Lauzeral in Litigation and Pierre-Alain Bouhénic in Restructuring.

"Having a solid and comprehensive employment law offering is essential to the success of our transactional activity. Camille's arrival is instrumentalin this respect, firstly to consolidate the range of legal services we offer our clients, and secondly to provide them with day-to-day support in this area of law and continue to build solid, trust-based relationships with them," explains Frédéric Pinet, managing partner.

Camille Cournot, Counsel, says: "I'm delighted to be joining Moncey as head of its employment law department. In addition to handling the labor law aspects of the transactions in which the firm is involved, I'll be keen to develop this practice, which is key to successful long-term relationships with clients.
