Moncey Avocats advised the founders and management of Groupe CIR (Compagnie immobilière de restauration) in the context of the LBO carried out with Blackfin Capital Partners, which is now the new majority shareholder.
Founded in 1988 and employing 125 people, Groupe CIR has built its growth on the renovation and acquisition of heritage buildings.
Groupe CIR structured its first LBO in 2017 under the leadership of Bridgepoint Development Capital for a valuation close to €150 million.
Today, Blackfin Capital Partners has become the new majority shareholder for a valuation slightly exceeding €300 million. The founders François Larrère, CEO and Franck Temim, Managing Director, reinvested part of the proceeds of the sale with new executives who also joined the capital.
