Moncey Avocats assisted BNP Paribas Developpement in its investment in Vulcain

Practice areas : Mergers & Acquisitions

Moncey Avocats assisted BNP Paribas Developpement in the reorganization of Vulcain, a Paris-based engineering company specializing in the design, production and installation of structures combining metal and glass, and with its investment following on from Siparex, a partner for 12 years.

The Comte family, united within the Sartorius holding company and represented by Romain Comte, retains majority control with around 52% of the shares. The remainder of the capital is now held by around fifteen senior executives, led by Chairman Fabien Coquart.

This transaction is an opportunity for Vulcain to renew its confidence in its historic banks, including CIC Nord-Ouest, Caisse d'Épargne Ile-de-France and Crédit Agricole Mutuel de Paris et d'Ile-de-France.
