Advised the Delachaux Group on the acquisition of the entire stake held by La Caisse

Moncey Avocats advised the Delachaux Group on the acquisition of the entire stake held since 2018 by La Caisse (formerly Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec), representing 44% of the Delachaux Group’s capital. Following this transaction, the Delachaux Group’s long-standing shareholders now hold virtually all of the equity in Delachaux International, the Delachaux Group’s parent holding company, with the remainder held by certain managers.

A global player in engineering and industrial solutions in highly technology-driven markets, the Delachaux Group operates through its business units Pandrol (rail infrastructure), Conductix-Wampfler (energy and data management systems), and DCX Chrome (chromium metal), which are recognized worldwide for their reliability, expertise, and capacity for innovation. A family-owned group founded in 1902, the group generated 1,013 million euros in revenue in 2025. The Delachaux Group currently employs approximately 3,400 people in 34 countries.

This transaction will enable the Delachaux Group to continue its growth, focus its efforts and resources on strengthening the Group’s human, industrial, commercial, and financial foundations, and continue its transition toward new technologies.

The Delachaux Group was advised by a team from Moncey Avocats composed of:

  • Guillaume Giuliani, partner; Valentin Lefebvre, counsel; and Aloïse Graveraud, attorney, on corporate matters.
  • Jonathan Devillard, partner; Hélène Tazé and Ines Ourabi, attorneys, on financing matters.
  • Frédéric Bosc, partner, and Manon Vanbiervliet, attorney, on tax matters.
