Advised Ornikar on its acquisition of En Voiture Simone

Moncey Avocats advised Ornikar, a leading player in driver education, on its acquisition of En Voiture Simone from Cosmobilis.
Founded in 2015, En Voiture Simone is a fully online driving school connecting learner drivers with independent instructors. The company has trained more than 3 million students and relies on a network of over 1,000 partner instructors. The brand will be retained within the newly formed group.

The combined entity represents more than 10% of the total driving school market in France, supports over 1 million students each year, and is backed by more than 3,000 independent partner instructors.

This strategic combination is built on three key complementarities: technological, through the integration of both groups’ applications and ecosystems; geographical, with enhanced nationwide coverage including underserved areas; and brand positioning, as the two brands target partially distinct audiences.

The transaction also establishes a strategic partnership with Cosmobilis, owner of bee2link, enabling the development of new offerings related to vehicle financing and leasing for both students and partner instructors. It further strengthens Ornikar’s strategy of providing comprehensive support to young drivers, from theory test preparation to insurance through Ornikar Assurances.
