Advised IK Partners on its acquisition of a majority stake in Ascora Group
23.december.2025
Moncey Avocats advised IK Partners on its acquisition of a majority stake in Ascora Group, an insurance brokerage firm.
Founded in 1989, Ascora ranks among France's leading direct insurance brokers and offers a comprehensive range of services, from underwriting to claims management, across three key pillars: real estate, property and casualty insurance, health and employee benefits. Primarily based in the Île-de-France region, the group supports over 12,000 clients and has earned a solid reputation through strong technical expertise and a culture of proximity and trust.
After more than thirty years at the helm of the group, Stéphane Henry wished to step down from his role as president. This transaction, structured with IK Partners as a management buyout, allows the management team led by the CEO to strengthen its equity participation while pursuing a targeted external growth strategy. Ascora aims to consolidate its position as a leading insurance brokerage platform, particularly through investments in its sales teams, digital tools, and the professionalization of its central functions.
IK Partners was advised by a Moncey Avocats team composed of:
- Guillaume Giuliani, partner, Alexandre Bankowski, counsel, Vianney Birot, Pénélope Renard, and Aloïse Graveraud, associates on corporate matters.
- Frédéric Bosc, partner, and Margot Bosc, associate on tax matters.
