20.july.2026
Moncey Avocats advised the sellers of Batibig, including its founders Charles and Justin Bignon, the minority investors EMZ Partners and Siparex, as well as the management team, in connection with the acquisition of Batibig by Charterhouse Capital Partners. Charles and Justin Bignon will reinvest alongside Charterhouse and will continue to lead the company together with the current management team.
Founded in 2005, Batibig has established itself as a leading player in the French building maintenance and emergency repair services market, with revenue exceeding €500 million. Its multi-service, multi-regional platform is supported by a network of subsidiaries covering the entire French territory, more than 2,000 employees, and over 300,000 interventions carried out each year for a professional client base (property managers, co-ownership managers) across both private and public sectors.
This transaction will enable Batibig to pursue its growth strategy alongside Charterhouse, with the ambition to accelerate its external growth, strengthen its geographic coverage, and consolidate its position as a leading platform in the building maintenance and emergency repair market.
In this transaction, the founders of Batibig, the minority investors EMZ Partners and Siparex, as well as the management team, were advised by a Moncey Avocats team comprising:
- Fabrice de La Morandière and Alexandre Bankowski, partners, together with Vianney Birot and Pénélope Renard, associates, on corporate matters.
- Frédéric Bosc, partner, and Margot Bosc, associate, on tax matters.
- Camille Cournot, partner, on employment law matters.
