Counsel to Tevah Systèmes' founders in their OBO with Capza Transition

Moncey Avocats assisted Tevah Systèmes' founders in their OBO with Capza Transition.

Founded in 2004 by Philippe Berda, Tevah Systèmes is a major player in the import and distribution of electronic security systems to professionals in the sector. Established in Ile-de-France and since 2019 in Guadeloupe and Perpignan, the company recently opened two more offices in Lyon and Marseille and plans to further expand its territorial coverage.

Tevah Systèmes has just structured its first OBO under the leadership of Capza Transition, a specialist in strategic turnarounds, with a view to strengthening its position in the security market and initiating several external growth projects.

With this transaction, Philippe Berda has taken a key step in the transfer of Tevah Systèmes to his son David Berda entrusted with the general management role. His two other sons, Benjamin Berda and Ruben Berda, are also involved in the company in logistics and sales functions.

Tevah Systèmes' founders were advised by a team from Moncey Avocats composed of Frédéric Bosc, partner and Mathilde Cotillon, associate, in tax.

Other legal advisors to Tevah Systèmes' founders involved:

  • Corporate lawyers: Alexandre Namoun (Clifford Chance) and Michael Doumet (Weil, Gotshal & Manges)
  • Financing lawyers: Awen Carnot (Weil, Gotshal & Manges)
