Advised Pimento in connection with its acquisition by Mistral AI

Moncey Avocats advised Pimento - and in particular its two co-founders - during its acquisition by Mistral AI, a French company specializing in artificial intelligence.

Founded in 2022, Pimento is a French startup specializing in the creation of advertising campaigns using artificial intelligence. Its solution enables marketing and creative teams to accelerate the design and production of advertising content. The company currently works with more than 180 brands.

As part of this transaction, Pimento’s teams will join those of Mistral AI to contribute to the development of Vibe (formerly Le Chat), its conversational assistant.

This acquisition marks Mistral AI’s third growth-oriented acquisition in 2026, following the acquisition of the French startup Koyeb, a provider of serverless cloud solutions, and that of the Austrian company Emmi AI, which specializes in artificial intelligence applied to digital simulation for industry.

Through this latest acquisition, Mistral AI continues to strengthen its teams and technological expertise, particularly in the field of AI-driven content creation.
