Advised NextStage AM in connection with its investment in the majority management buy-in (MBI) of Domaine de Chezelles

Moncey Avocats advised NextStage AM, a pioneer in growth capital in France, in connection with its investment—made through its vehicle NextStage Evergreen and the Capital Entrepreneur funds—in the majority management buy-in (MBI) of Domaine de Chezelles.

Founded in 1900 in the heart of the Berry region, Domaine de Chezelles is a French family-owned company specializing in natural and preventive health and in the production of bee-derived products. With over 125 years of expertise, the company offers products made from royal jelly, honey, propolis, and pollen, as well as a range of natural dietary supplements and cosmetics.

This transaction supports the transfer of Domaine de Chezelles to Karen Vernet, who will assume the role of chairwoman. Marie-Cécile Hernaez will support the transition and is reinvesting in the company alongside Karen Vernet and NextStage AM.

NextStage AM’s investment is intended to accelerate the Domaine’s omnichannel development and strengthen its positioning in the natural health sector, while preserving its identity, heritage, and expertise.

NextStage AM was advised by a team from Moncey Avocats comprising:

  • Guillaume Giuliani, partner, Marianne Zwobada, and Clara Berland, attorneys, on corporate matters.
  • Jonathan Devillard, partner, Matthieu Loonis, and Ines Ourabi, attorneys, on financing matters.
  • Frédéric Bosc, partner, and Manon Vanbiervliet, attorney, on matters related to tax matters.
  • Camille Cournot, partner, and Anne-Sophie Laird, attorney, on employment law matters.
