Counsel to ECF Group in connection with its acquisition of AIF Group

 

Moncey Avocats is assisting ECF Group in its latest external growth operation, with the acquisition of AIF Group, a supplier of furniture for professionals in the CHR (cafés, hotels and restaurants) sector, via its Ligne Vauzelle and Macorest brands.

This acquisition strengthens ECF Group's position in the European furniture market, through its subsidiaries Lepage, Chomette and Ecotel. It represents a further step in the creation of a dedicated Furniture vertical within ECF Group.

Paul Andrei, Managing Director and majority shareholder of AIF Group, and his teams will retain their current roles, with the task of continuing and accentuating the development of a Furniture Business Unit within the ECF Group, alongside Jérôme Lepage, Managing Director of Flexmob, which will act as the Group's furniture purchasing centre.

This acquisition is part of the evolution of ECF Group undertaken since 2017 with the support of its shareholders, in particular Naxicap Partners, and also benefits from the backing of PAI Partners, which has made official its forthcoming acquisition of a majority stake in ECF Group.
