Advised Citron on the acquisition of iQspot

Moncey Avocats has advised Citron, a French company specializing in the energy transition of buildings, on the acquisition of iQspot, a company specializing in real-time energy monitoring and a partner of real estate companies and investors.

This first external growth operation was financed thanks to the renewed support of Citron's historic investors, including Eiffel IG, Entrepreneur Invest and Bpifrance, as well as a contribution in shares from iQspot's founders, Julien Bruneau and Quentin Enard, who are now joining the Citron team.

This acquisition is fully in line with Citron's strategy: having successfully pivoted towards software publishing, the company is now asserting its ambition to become a major consolidator in the energy transition market. By integrating iQspot, Citron is expanding its portfolio of digital solutions, accelerating its growth and offering its customers an increasingly comprehensive and innovative range of services to optimize the energy performance of their buildings. The merger also strengthens Citron's presence in Europe and supports its international development ambitions.

Citron was advised by a team from Moncey Avocats comprising :
- Guillaume Giuliani, partner, Alexia Demonchy and Clara Berland on corporate aspects.
- Frédéric Bosc, partner, and Loïc Pipaud, lawyer, on tax aspects.
- Camille Cournot, partner, for legal aspects.
