Moncey Avocats advised the shareholders of Cedrus & Partners in connection with the sale of their majority stake to Carac, a mutual insurance company specialized in savings, retirement, and provident schemes.
Founded in 2010, Cedrus & Partners is an independent investment firm serving private clients, family holdings, associations, and foundations. The group advises on significant assets and manages funds in private equity and infrastructure.
The transaction enables Carac to take control of a recognized player in private investment advisory and management, alongside management led by Matthieu Broquère (Chairman) and Sébastien Roca (Chief Executive Officer), who retain a minority stake.
This deal forms part of Carac’s development strategy aimed at strengthening its non-listed asset investment division, already illustrated by its equity interests in Astoria and Atream.
For Cedrus & Partners, this partnership marks the beginning of a new phase of growth and consolidation in the French and European markets.
The shareholders of Cedrus & Partners were advised by a Moncey Avocats team comprising:
- Guillaume Giuliani, partner, Valentin Lefebvre, counsel, and Aloïse Graveraud, associate, on corporate matters.
- Frédéric Bosc, partner, and Loïc Pipaud, associate, on tax matters.
- Camille Cournot, partner, on employment law matters.
