Moncey Avocats advised 21 Invest on its acquisition of a majority stake in Kali Environnement, an independent environmental consulting firm and a leading player in the French environmental engineering and consulting market.

Founded in 1998 and headquartered in Lille, Kali Environnement operates across five core areas: ICPE regulatory compliance, contaminated site and soil management, air quality monitoring, biodiversity studies, and water management. Since its first LBO with Turenne Emergence in 2021, the group has doubled in size, completed three acquisitions, and now operates through 15 offices across France.

This transaction will enable Kali Environnement to accelerate its external growth strategy in a still highly fragmented market by consolidating niche players, strengthening its regional footprint, and expanding its service offering.

The transaction is financed through a unitranche debt facility provided by CIC Private Debt. The management team, led by Fabrice Braconnier, is reinvesting a significant portion of its proceeds alongside 21 Invest. Nord Capital Partenaires remains a minority shareholder.
