Advised Andera Partners on the management buyout of Xelians
20.october.2025

Moncey Avocats advised Andera Partners on the acquisition of a majority stake in the Xelians Group by its management team, marking Montefiore's exit.
Created in 2018 following the merger of Locarchives and Archiveco, the Xelians Group has established itself as the French leader in document management and archiving. With nearly 800 employees, 33 archiving and digitization sites in France and abroad, and three data centers, the Group occupies a major position in the sector.
This transaction, which did not involve a new financial sponsor, marks a strategic turning point. It allows management to strengthen its stake in the capital and directly steer the Group's future growth. The ambition remains twofold: to assert Xelians' position in physical archiving while accelerating the development of its digital activities.
Andera Partners was advised by a team from Moncey Avocats composed of
• Guillaume Giuliani, partner, Alexandre Bankowski, counsel, Alix Auclair and Clémence Lemaire, lawyers on corporate aspects.
• David Malamed, partner, Jonathan Devillard, counsel, and Florana Benabid, lawyer, on financing aspects.
• Frédéric Bosc, partner, and Loïc Pipaud, lawyer, on tax aspects.
• Camille Cournot, partner, and Alexandra Fabbro, lawyer, on labor law aspects.
