Advised Cerea Partners on its acquisition of a majority stake in L2PI
31.march.2026
Moncey Avocats advised Cerea Partners (part of the Demea Invest group), a leading agri-food investor, on its acquisition of a majority stake in L2PI, the French leader in the distribution of bottled food-grade CO₂.
Founders Nelly Baribault and Jean-Louis Druart are relinquishing control while reinvesting in the company, joined by a new management duo—an internal COO and an external sales manager—to ensure operational continuity and steer the company through a new phase of growth.
L2PI benefits from strong barriers to entry, notably thanks to its proprietary fleet of cylinders, operational excellence covering all of France, and a leading position in a growing market. The company aims for €20 million in organic revenue within five years, bolstered by its pioneering position in biogenic CO₂ derived from anaerobic digestion.
Cerea Partners was advised by a team from Moncey Avocats comprising:
• Guillaume Giuliani, partner, Marianne Zwobada, and Lucas Bergeron, attorneys, on corporate matters.
• Diane Ferriol and Hélène Tazé, attorneys, on financing matters.
• Frédéric Bosc, partner, and Margot Bosc, attorney, on tax matters.
• Camille Cournot, partner, and Anaïs Queniat, attorney, on labor law matters.
